TAAIBOS RIVER LODGE was designed as a sophisticated “colonial style” lodge, able to accommodate ten guests with all of the rooms in one large structure
Whilst all five of the luxuriously spacious rooms, with hardwood floors and high ceilings, are complete with full en-suite bathrooms, private outside showers and ample closet space, they each have their own unique personality. All rooms are equipped with under-floor heating in the bathrooms, individually controlled air conditioning units and have their own chilled, purified water system for the health conscious visitor. All glass is double glazed, facilitating excellent climate control. Insect screens cover all opening doors and windows. Bathrobes, hairdryers, razor plug points, electronic safe, insect repellent, and a range of natural skin and body care products are all provided.
Three rooms share a ground-floor atrium with a heated plunge pool. The other two suites are situated on an upper floor sharing a large balcony with a stunning river and cliff view.
The master suite, with unsurpassed views of the Taaibos River valley, has twin double beds with satellite television and Blu-Ray player, a spacious walk-in cupboard and an adjoining office/lounge with majestic views over the valley.
The remaining two rooms on the ground floor have satellite television, Blu-Ray player and walk-in cupboards.
The two upstairs rooms share an open balcony with views of the Taaibos River and sandstone cliffs. One of these rooms can be combined into a suite, together with a nearby private lounge which can be converted into a sixth bedroom.
